Women Arise Ministry Global (WAM)

Our social action programme is designed for Black and Black mixed-heritage girls aged 8-16 years. We enable them to grow in confidence, strengthen their identity and develop leadership skills in a safe, affirming environment through:

Mentoring with inspiring role models

Connecting girls with positive Black female mentors who support aspiration and self-belief.

Workshops on confidence, STEM, wellbeing and personal development

Building knowledge, resilience and skills that support personal and academic development.

Creative and cultural enrichment

Celebrating Black history and culture, creativity and achievement to nurture pride and belonging.

Safe, supportive peer spaces

Creating spaces where girls feel heard, valued and free to be themselves.
