About us
Women Arise Ministries (WAM) Global began with a simple vision to support women through life’s challenges with compassion, understanding and community.
Over time, it became clear that many of the challenges faced by women and girls were rooted in wider social and cultural barriers. In response, we established WAM Community as a dedicated space offering practical development opportunities, wellbeing support, and youth programmes designed to meet these needs.
Our work is delivered through two complementary arms:
WAM Community – our London-based, community-focused arm supporting women, girls, and families through practical help, mentoring, emotional wellbeing support, and personal development programmes.
WAM Ministry – our faith-based arm, offering spiritual encouragement and support for women who choose to engage with this aspect of our work.
Today, Women Arise Ministries continues to grow as a place of support, empowerment, and transformation where women and families can thrive, connect, and move forward with confidence.

Our mission
Our mission is to equip, empower, and enable women, girls, and families by nurturing confidence, strengthening wellbeing, and creating pathways for personal growth, resilience, and community connection.
Our vision
Our vision is a society where women and girls, particularly those from racially minoritised and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, are empowered with the skills and confidence to embrace their identity, access opportunities, and reach their full potential.
Our aims
To provide safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces where women and girls can explore, learn, and develop new skills in a nurturing environment.
To foster confidence, self-belief, and resilience by supporting personal development, emotional wellbeing, and leadership potential.
To equip women and girls with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential.
To create opportunities for social mobility by removing barriers and opening pathways to education, employment, and personal success.
To strengthen community connections through collaboration with local organisations, businesses, and families, promoting unity and shared growth.
To encourage healthy ownership and leadership in all aspects of life, empowering women, girls and families to create positive, lasting change within their communities.
