WAM Global is a Christian charity that was originally established to support women through emotional, spiritual and practical challenges. From the beginning, our vision has been to create safe, empowering spaces where women can grow in confidence, heal, and develop the skills they need to flourish. We offer teaching, development opportunities and supportive networks rooted in compassion, dignity and a belief in every woman’s potential.

 

As our work expanded, we began to see increasing needs within the wider community – needs that were not faith-specific but deeply connected to wellbeing, identity, poverty, and social inequality. In response, we created WAM Community, the non-faith-based arm of the charity, to ensure women, girls and families could access culturally relevant support regardless of background or belief.

 

Together, WAM Global and WAM Community provide inclusive, transformative support for women and young people across London, responding to genuine community needs with compassion, cultural awareness and a commitment to empowerment.

Women’s Empowerment Meetings

Our Women’s Empowerment Meetings are informal, relaxed, and welcoming spaces where women can connect in a supportive environment. We explore everyday issues openly and honestly, encouraging meaningful conversations that promote knowledge, healing, personal strength, and a sense of wholeness. These gatherings are designed to uplift, inspire, and empower women in their personal journeys.

Skils Development Training

We offer a listening and prayer surgery during our events, and appointments are also available at other times by arrangement.

Prayer Breakfast Meeting

The Women’s Prayer Breakfast Meetings bring together Christian women from different churches and denominations in unity and fellowship. Through shared prayer and reflection, we lift up families, our communities, and the nations. These gatherings nurture spiritual growth, strengthen faith, and encourage unity across the Body of Christ.

Listening and Prayer Surgery

We offer a listening and prayer surgery during our events, with appointments also available at other times by arrangement.

Women’s Time Out With God

Women’s Time Away is a powerful retreat experience that takes women from the UK, mainly overseas away from the demands of everyday life. This time is dedicated to relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal; providing space to replenish the spirit, soul, and body in a supportive and nurturing environment.
